What types of drywall do you install?
Do you do the framing too?
Yes. As a licensed general contractor, we handle framing and drywall under one roof. New walls get framed square and plumb so drywall hangs flat. If existing framing has issues, we repair or sister studs before hanging new board.
What's the difference between Level 4 and Level 5 finish?
Level 4 has all joints and fasteners taped and coated with three coats of compound - works for most walls with flat or eggshell paint. Level 5 adds a skim coat over the entire surface - required for high-gloss paint or walls with harsh lighting that show imperfections.
Can you match my existing texture?
We match knockdown, orange peel, skip trowel, smooth, and other common textures. Exact matches can't be guaranteed since textures vary, but once paint goes on, repairs blend in and are well hidden.
What kinds of drywall damage can you fix?
Pretty much anything. Water damage from flooded basements, holes of any size, scratches, settlement cracks, nail pops, failed tape joints. If it can be repaired, we can repair it. If it needs replaced, we can cut it out and put in new board.
Will I be able to see drywall repairs after paint?
No. We feather the compound out past the patch, match the existing texture, and prime before paint. When it's done right, repairs disappear.
