TRADES: Interior Painting | Cabinet Refinishing | Drywall Repair | Paint Prep & Repairs | Finish Carpentry
Whole-House Interior Repaint, Accent Walls & Cabinet Refinishing
- Coordinated the project for an out-of-state homeowner relocating from Pennsylvania, including estimating from real-estate photos and confirming final scope/materials once access was available.
- Painted all interior ceilings, walls, and trim throughout the home for a cohesive, move-in-ready finish.
- Painted multiple accent walls and feature areas to add contrast and visual impact in key living spaces.
- Installed chair rail and completed associated trim prep for a clean two-tone wall detail where specified.
- Completed drywall repairs throughout, including patching, skim work where needed, and repairs to water-damaged areas prior to finish paint.
- Completed baseboard repairs and minor trim corrections to restore clean lines and consistent transitions.
- Finished walls and trim using Benjamin Moore Scuff-X for a durable, premium interior finish.
- Professionally refinished kitchen cabinets using EnviroLak (2K polyurethane cabinet coating) for a smooth, hard-wearing finish.
- Protected newly refinished floors by covering with paper and drop cloths, and maintained full masking/protection of windows, cabinets, countertops, and adjacent surfaces throughout the project.
- Maintained a tight production schedule and cleanup routine to meet the customer’s fixed move-in date, delivering the home within a 9-day timeframe.
Tight Deadline, Out-of-State Coordination
- The schedule was compressed due to the move-in deadline, requiring efficient sequencing and daily progress targets.
- Floor protection and clean work practices were critical due to recently refinished hardwoods.
- Cabinet refinishing required detailed masking and controlled application to achieve a smooth, durable finish.
- Chair rail installation and two-tone transitions required precision layout and crisp cut lines for a polished look.

Interior Painting & Cabinet Refinishing Questions
How much does a whole-house interior repaint cost in Columbus?
Most whole-house interior repaints in the Columbus area range from $4,000 to $12,000 depending on square footage, number of rooms, ceiling height, and how much prep and drywall repair is needed. Accent walls, chair rail, and cabinet refinishing add to the scope. We provide detailed written estimates with every line item broken out. No hidden fees, no deposit required. Call 614-582-4227 for a free estimate.
What is the best paint for kitchen cabinets?
For durability and a factory-smooth finish, we use catalyzed coatings like EnviroLak 2K polyurethane or Centurion 2800 Series. These cure harder than standard latex or alkyd paints and resist chipping, yellowing, and daily wear from handles, cleaning, and moisture. Standard latex cabinet paint works for light-use areas, but kitchens need a coating that can take abuse. Proper prep is just as important as the product. We sand, clean, prime, and spray in controlled conditions for an even finish with no brush marks. See our full cabinet refinishing services.
Can you paint my house before I move in?
Yes, and move-in repaints are one of our most common projects. An empty house is the ideal time to paint because there is no furniture to work around, no rooms to skip, and no disruption to daily life. We can estimate from listing photos if you are out of state and confirm the final scope once we have access. We also coordinate with realtors, property managers, and closing timelines to make sure the work is done before your move-in date. This Worthington project was estimated from Pennsylvania and delivered in 9 days. Call 614-582-4227 to discuss your timeline.
